Getting my eyebrows done is something I’ve been trying to do for the past four years. I’ve been following Skyn Studio since the beginning of my research days, and always knew it would be the place I’d go once I finally pulled the trigger on my brows. Kristina Monique Cortez was my artist and she was AMAZING !!! She made me feel so calm throughout the entire process. She completely explained how this will be a journey from the first session, to the healing process, the touch up, and then the final end results. She took her time with me to map out the perfect shape. I never knew my eyes called for a bold brow but she has given me a whole new look. My eyebrows were very sparse to none so the powder ombré brows have already brought back my confidence. I have my touch up appointment at the end of the month, but it’s already so great to not have to worry if it will be a good, or bad eyebrow day. I no longer have to draw them in, or be sad once it’s time to wash them off at the end of a good eye brow day. It really is the finished makeup look we all want and I no longer have to spend 20 mins creating my brows. I wake up, and good morning beautiful brows thanks to Kristina’s artistic eye, and talented magic wand. Another additional plus is that she sets such a cool vibe during the session and plays the best music! :) She is truly changing lives one set of eyebrows at a time lol. It was easy to get to the office and I was able to park right outside, on the street, and it was not expensive. Yashira is very nice and professional. She explained the process to me at the beginning and again as we went through each step. The office is super clean, comfortable, and smells good. Things that are super important when you’re having this type of procedure done! So far my brows are healing up nicely and I am looking forward to going back in a few weeks for my follow up session!

Uhmmmm, Kristen is a brow witch!!! Worked some serious magic on my brows!!! I’ve always noticed that something was funky with my eyebrows, one was higher than the other, or something odd, could never quite put my finger on it, but it was always very apparent to me in photos... Kristen sweetly pointed out that one of my brow bones was higher than the other. She microbladed it to perfection, and now it’s impossible to tell that something ever used to be “funky”. She made me feel so comfortable throughout the entire appointment, even while I was being a huge baby ;-) thank you Kristen, I love my new brows! I’ve already received so many compliments!

Yashira is great!! Highly recommend. I was most worried about getting the right pigment and thickness so that my brows would look as natural as possible. They look better than I could have imagined! I got the microblading + powder shading. The only thing I’d note is that she doesn’t apply the numbing cream until after the first pass, so it may be a little painful at first (nothing crazy). But after that, it’s smooth sailing and completely worth it. She also schedules a free follow-up appointment to “perfect” them. The only thing I’d want to do to mine is even out a small dip. Love!!!

I had my eyebrows done by Yashira - I had the nano microblading. Yashira is very patient and she takes her time to make sure you are happy. She was fabulous! My eyebrows look great, they are healing beautiful, the color looks very natural the shape is good so far although I may make some minimum changes on the next follow up appointment. I had elsewhere microblading done and there is no comparison to Skyn studio. They are efficient, newer tools that speeds up the process, and precision and the quality of colors....wowThe price is all worth it- I would not go anywhere else other than Skyn Studio. Do your research well before you do this procedure to your face!

Exceeded Expectations! I went to Shana Irish at Skyn Studio. I've been researching her work for two years now and finally pulled the trigger. I don't have any tattoos so obviously having my first one on my face was a little unnerving. I never knew her and nobody recommended her to me. I just found her and stalked her work, forever. She was the second person in Chicago to start microblading. The first was her mentor. She was just hand-picked to go to Russia and learn new techniques, which is an honor and just outrageous! I am even happier than I thought I would be!!! My expectations were exceeded! I've never had good eyebrows to begin with and as I get older they are quickly disappearing. (I also NEVER pluck. THEY GONE!) I was soo tired of having to pencil them in Every. Single. Day. I despised the amount of time it took from me, daily. I also refused to get my face wet when swimming because I didn't want to be seen without brows. I no longer have to worry about that and I'm so grateful. Shana does an incredible job of explaining how the process/maintenance will work before, during, and after. She has a TON of accolades and more to come! If you go anywhere else, you're absolutely crazy. Do your own research, of course. I did mine for two years. Shana came out on top, every time, in terms of technique, color recommendation, chair-side manner, follow-up etc. She books out, so definitely plan for that. Also, be weary of those who don't book out. You should never be able to just walk in.
